Flash Decision from Kanal D: Will “Daha 17” Continue in the Winter Season?
Will “Daha 17” End After Summer? Will the Screen Bring Sad or Happy News?
The curious wait continues for viewers of “Daha 17,” the most talked-about and rating-smashing production of the summer television season. As the show has become an indispensable part of Sunday nights during hot summer evenings, the most searched question on search engines is naturally, “Will Daha 17 end after summer?” As it is well known in the industry, summer series usually wrap up with a finale at the beginning of September, making way for the ambitious dramas of the upcoming winter season. This general rule of showbiz remains true for many productions that start their on-screen journey every summer.
“Doğanın Kanunu” Threw in the Towel Early
Unfortunately, not every production gets the same lucky streak on the summer screen. As you may remember, another highly anticipated project of this season, the series “Doğanın Kanunu,” decided to make its final exit at the 13th episode. While many projects crushed by the rating monster bid farewell to the screen before even seeing September, the situation developed quite differently for “Daha 17.” Reaching a rating of 7.65 in Total—outshining even major winter season shows—the production successfully rewrote its own destiny.
Flash Decision from Kanal D: It Will Continue in Winter!
Kanal D and the production company could not remain indifferent to the intense viewer interest and soaring rating charts. According to the official decision, the series will not make a finale when summer ends and will continue its broadcasting journey on Sunday nights throughout the upcoming winter season. Having secured its place on the winter schedule for now, the crew will face a fierce rating battle against Sunday’s deeply rooted and powerful giants like “Teşkilat” in the new season.
Ata Yaşat, who gives life to the character Teoman in the series, also confirmed these reports in a recent statement. The successful actor expressed great joy and excitement on behalf of the entire crew about staying together for the winter season. If the rating success of the series continues at this pace during the winter months, “Daha 17” will head toward a grand season finale instead of an early cancellation.
