“Doğanın Kanunu” Says Goodbye: First Summer Series Finale Announced
THE FIRST FAREWELL OF THE SUMMER SEASON: “DOĞANIN KANUNU” SAYS GOODBYE TO THE SCREEN
The summer television tradition remains unchanged as “Doğanın Kanunu” (The Law of Nature), one of the season’s most ambitious projects, prepares to bid farewell. According to backstage leaks from journalist Birsen Altuntaş, the Ay Yapım production airing on Star TV has officially become the first series of the 2026 summer season to announce its cancellation.
From the Top of the Ratings to an Early Exit
Premiering on June 10, 2026, the show initially hit the ground running. It quickly climbed the ratings ladder to peak at an impressive 5.37, dominating Wednesday nights. However, that early momentum didn’t last. The series suffered a sharp drop in viewership during the July 15 public holiday and simply couldn’t recover. With ratings recently slipping to 3.57, the network and production house jointly decided to pull the plug. Anticipating that the storyline wouldn’t hold up against the fierce competition of the upcoming fall season, the team chose to wrap things up neatly rather than dragging it out.
The Urla Journey Ends on September 2nd
Starring Alperen Duymaz as Yaman and Özge Yağız as Doğa, the drama was filmed against the scenic backdrop of Izmir’s Urla district. Directed by Ali Bilgin and Beste Sultan Kasapoğulları, the visually stunning story that captivated fans will conclude right on its planned 13th episode.
The Final Countdown Begins
According to Star TV‘s current schedule, the show will broadcast its 10th episode tomorrow night, August 12. This leaves just three weeks until the grand finale. “Doğanın Kanunu” will officially wrap up its television run with Episode 13 on Wednesday evening, September 2, 2026. The crew is expected to pack up and leave the Urla set immediately after filming the final scenes.
